Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1045843 bytes) in /home/xxxx/public_html/libraries/joomla/filesystem/archive/zip.php on line 305

SIG Pro 2.0.2 is currently installed however page loads a bit slowly

Was hoping that new version would correct page load time ... :-\

Standing by and thanks!

The upload times out because the plugin zip file is over 1MB. Do this:
- upload via FTP to your site's /tmp folder
- go to the Joomla installer and simply install the plugin over the server, just enter the zip file's name.

That's it. ;)

Hi B_dark!

I believe you are talking bout the install via the upload of the package to the server.

Do you have this issue only with sigpro?
If you try to install the package with the classic mode, what message return the system?

Thank you!

I too uploaded the zip to my tmp folder and tried to set the path and get the same error. that's all sigPRO does, produce errors. it won't upload and gives a fatal error, it won't install from the path, there is no URL to install from, I tried to increase the memory on my php ini, all that, everything they request you do. this is so lame.

I usually "buy" software because then you have support... but this time it's different. this time I purchased the program and they really don't care, and refuse to return any emails I have sent.

This was a classic PHP memory issue. Once I had the limited increased SIG PRO installed just fine! Updated this August 9-2009

I too just spend (wasted) more time searching this forum for answers to this problem. Its the only plugin so far this month out of hundreds that will not install by any method suggested. Pro version 2.04 or any 2 version. I did find my tmp folder full of all kinds of versions! I found this problem when 2.04 was first released I figured if I just came back in a month or two the problem would have been solved by now.  :)

The FREE version 1.21.r2 for Joomla 1.5.11 installs in a second or two without problem. So when is the Pro version going to be fixed. I read the part about 2.1 coming soon. Whats up?
