Hi,

I'm having an issue with my text wrapping around my thumbnail. I don't want that to happen.

It looks like this: www.joomlaworks.net/content/view/51/41/#demos (the motorcycle picture).

I'm also having a problem with the caption & photo credits listed via HTML under my main image not showing up. Any help?

Sure:

This is the main problem I'm running into: www.soapoperasource.com/amc/gallery/amc-gallery-week-of-august-10.html

As you can see in this link: www.soapoperasource.com/atwt/news/lesli-kay-returning-to-atwt-this-fall.html

I have image captions under neath my main picture. They don't show up when I use galleries.

Any action on this?  I have the same issue.

For example, I have 3 versions of the same (5 photo) gallery on one page, and want them to show up vertically. Right now they show up with each one to the right and a little below the previous one.

For a gallery called "Teachers" I have this code (cut from the editor):
<p><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">NO CAPTIONS</span></strong> { gallery }Teachers:140:140:1<strong>:0</strong>{ /gallery }{gallery}Teachers:140:140:1:0{/gallery}</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>GENERIC CAPTION</strong></span> { gallery }Teachers:140:140:1<strong>:1</strong>{ /gallery }{gallery}Teachers:140:140:1:1{/gallery}</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<div><strong><span style="text-decoration: underline;">CAPTIONS FROM A FILE </span></strong>{ gallery }Teachers:140:140:1<strong>:2</strong>{ /gallery }{gallery}Teachers:140:140:1:2{/gallery}</div>
<p>&nbsp;</p>

@prozaktiger

Find the class: ul.sig-container-single and remove the float:left; It will do.
(the css file of the plugin is inside the following path: plugins/content/jw_sigpro/templates/Sleek/template.css) Before you do the change you can also do a template override to be better prepared for a future update of the plugin. For how to do a template override read here: www.joomlaworks.net/content/view/51/41/

Thanks. I will try that later tonight or tomorrow.

The web site is under development and the owner does not yet want any links publicized. Additionally, the page in question is only a "tutorial" for the owner on various options for setup, etc.

I could PM the link to you if important?

I have PM'd the instructions to view the page.

I do have a seriously stupid question, however. The "templates override" section on the documentation page is clear enough but doesn't tell me how to actually use it.

I don't know how to use template overrides, although I sort of get what they are. I think an example in that section would help a lot.

Additionally, another sentence or two about what will happen when there IS an update, and the CSS potentially changes. Since I copied the ENTIRE css file, wouldn't that override ALL the pieces?  In other words, do you recommend that I comment out everything in MY copy of the template that I do not want to override?

So, perhaps 2 or 3 small examples there would be better.

Again, thanks for your time and explaination.

If I get it straight you have copied the files from plugins/content/jw_sigpro/templates/Sleek to templates/jp_dailypraise_j1.5/html/jw_sigpro/templates/Sleek.

Usually in updates the files in the plugin that changes are the php ones and rarely the CSS's, so you don't have anything to worry about.
The override is used also to find your changes quickly and know every time what you have modified in the future, only by opening the template's files. You don't have to go to every plugin, module, component you have made a modification and start searching.

Now try opening the CSS file in the override location (templates/jp_dailypraise_j1.5/html/jw_sigpro/templates/Sleek/template.css) and find as I said earlier the class ul.sig-container-single and remove the float:left;
This will solve your problem.

Thanks for your reply. I already did understand about copying the files.

What I still don't understand is how to do an "override". That is why I suggested actual examples.

I deliberately left the "old" version of the web page so that you could see it.

I have had hard drive problems on my laptop for last 2 days, so have not fixed the page yet. Will let you know.
