Syntax Error in IE7

I am running 1.0.11 and viewing the site in IE7 (latest version) and I get the following error show up in the status bar of IE: "Done, but with errors on page "
(IE6/FF work without error)
www.masonsfeatures.co.uk
Error:
Line: 2, Char: 1, Error: Syntax error, Code: 0
I have searched everywhere for a solution to this. I have tried lots of things from changing or removing the doctype statement to turning off other JS scripts one by one to find the problem (the error goes away if SIG is removed).
If you could help I would be most grateful. Firefox error console is only showing 3 or 4 css warnings but nothing else so I am really scratching my head.
My foum post at the Joomla! site has got a few replies but nobody there has been able to solve it. More info here:

JS Lint ( www.jslint.com/ ) shows a few syntax errors (or at least what it calls syntax errors) but as my js isn't great I am reluctant to mess around with the code.
The version that is running on your demo site (which doesn't show any errors when I view it) has all the same files as mine except for the one I can't check - plugin_jw_sig.php.
I wonder if there is something in this file that is different from the download version?
Thanks!
James :)

One strange thing - if I install the the template used with this site and SIG into J! 1.08 then I get no error (this was discovered by chance). The error appears while running on 1.0.11.
Don't know if this helps. What J! version are you running on your demo site?

I can't provide the address for the 1.08 test as it was done on one of my computers (not the net). I am so confused about why this error is appearing. I would certainly understand if an answer couldn't be found!
Good luck and thanks again!

Dear mr. FotisI have the same "error on page" problem in IE6 and IE7 on twi sites. I dont understand why, because I have other sites using header rotator without this error.

I hope you have an answer on this ??
Best regards Kjell

I think my posting overlaps this issue a little. I am running IE7 with 1.0.12 Joomla. I tried header rotator but continued to get errors until I removed it. Now I have thos errors with this script unless I remove it. As previously mentioned in a prior post, I have disabled mambots and modules but still no luck.
I thought maybe 2 scripts were confusing my page but set up a test page here:
www.internet-websites.com/lawdale/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=53&Itemid=70
I still get the same.
John

Please note this is the "Line: 2, Char: 1, Error: Syntax error, Code: 0" issue (not to be confused with some other errors listed in this post).
