i've downloaded and installed the plugin.
i'm not too sure on where do i put in my media files?
and also, how do i create a content to play files?

Please read the manual first.
You can find the instruction at your joomla admin panel from the menu Mambots -> Site mambots select AllVideos Plugin and there you will find the instructions in tabs.

The images folder is not in the all video plug in folder its in images/stories/videos/ folder in the root of your joomla installation, there is where you put your videos. If you want to change the path just change the Local Video Folder option in all video plug in settings.
Supported file formats
You can upload on your Joomla! website almost any type of video format used today on the web. From Windows Media to QuickTime, Flash, DivX or Real Media and of course MP3! To be exact you can stream any of the following file formats with the AllVideos Plugin (from your own or a remote server):

oh now i understood, you can put all videos in static content and content items.

i'm sorry but i'm hosting it locally.
i placed the file in my joomla folder (joomla/images/stories/videos) but the joomla folder is actually called dvls though i dont think that'll be an issue.
i created static content and placed the code like the instruction indicated.
but it does not play ???
