Crazy Mess-Up Need Help with AllVideos was created by jlsaloff
I am running Joomla 2.5.14 and use the iJoomla extension Guru (which is a component that delivers educational lessons). I had a problem with Guru not showing audios on the iPad. (They worked great elsewhere.) They did a fix, now the audios show, but the controller is black and the controls are almost black too. Easy fix, right? Just change the settings on AllVideos... except that didn't change it.
Soooo... I thought, I will see if there is an update to AllVideos... there was. (I don't know what version I had, but I updated to 4.5.0. That's when things got messy. Suddenly Guru stopped showing correctly. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling several times and nothing worked. Cleared the cashe... all that good stuff. Finally, I went back to a backup and reinstalled the old version. However, in the plugin area, it still is saying I have 4.5.0 installed.
I talked to iJoomla/Guru and they say it's a template problem. (I have a Joomlashack template, which they are usually really good.) It was fine before the Guru update, though.
1. Maybe it would help to know what folders which pieces get installed, so I could see if everything is there. Though, admittedly, I'm inclined to leave it as is, but people are complaining they can't see the controls.
Any tips or hints or ideas as to why changes in the control panel are not affecting what's showing on the front end?
You can see it at the link below, but you'll have to sign up for a free account, then click one of the interviews. "Anita"s interview has two audio links, so that's the best one to look at. I'll also attach an image of it.

Anyone can access it:
You can see it at the link below, but you'll have to sign up for a free account, then click one of the interviews. "Anita"s interview has two audio links, so that's the best one to look at. I'll also attach an image of it.

Then I will delete it after you are done.
