SOLVED - K2 and Allvideos problem was created by Alexandros Mandas
Hello,

1st of all i would like to congratulate you for these beautiful and clean components and plugins you have created for the Joomla community. GREAT JOB

My problem is:

I have a website in Joomla 2.5.14 with the lastest version of K2 installed and AllVideos plugin installed.

What i have tried to do and it seems that its not working is this:

From the front-end i have logged in and i am creating a new K2 item.
In the Media tab it allows me to browse and select a media to upload for my item. I select a file called audio01.mp3

After saving the item i can see the player in the item but when i click on the play button nothing happens.
what i have see is ... in the folder media/k2/audio it has uploaded the file with the name 1.mp3

And another strange thing is that .... if i re-edit the item and in the media i click on the checkbox to remove the media file, it does work for the k2 item but the mp3 file still remains in the media/k2/audio folder.

Thank you for your precious time.

Best Regards
Alexandros Mantas

Replied by Alexandros Mandas on topic Re: K2 and Allvideos problem
I finally found out how this can work.

For any others facing similar problem this is the work around.

In order for allvideos plugin to work with k2 in the audio for example.

The plugin must have the destination to were the K2 uploads.

So go to the AllVideos plugin  and in the audio we put the destination media/k2/audio.
