I have some footage on vimeo which is password protected. This is because the footage should not be availible to public. But i want to insert this video in the registered section of my site.

Is is possible to send the password in the plugin? Or does anyone know if you could allow the embedding from one special site.

You can insert your footage even if it is password protected. Go to the privacy option for embedding video found in your privacy setting. Then choose your prefer selection.
