No video: ? and Q in video - followed documentation -- was created by PJPJ
Hello, I've searched here and am not finding a resolve for this issue.
Just so you know what I've tried:
I have put my video in the appropriate folder: images/stories/videos as per the AllVideos documentation and also when I mouse over VIDEO in the Allideos parameters -- shows same path.
My video's title is IMG_9024.MOV (all caps) as that is the way the video is saved after taking it.
Under Video Parameters Local Video Folder I have images/stories/videos
In my actual article I have {mov}images/stories/videos/IMG_9024.MOV{/mov}
Someplace else in the documentation I read that if your video is in the stories folder that you only need the path images/stories/ and it will pick up the video. I tried that too, didn't work: {mov}images/stories/IMG_9024.MOV{/mov}
Now I have set the code as: {mov}images/stories/videos/IMG_9024.MOV{/mov}. Not working.
Any suggestions why I still have a ? and Q in the middle of the video, but no video.
I have checked to make sure the video works on my server. It does. Path: www.pjkinann.com/goapplego/images/stories/videos/IMG_9024.MOV
Does anyone know why my video will not play using the AllVideos extention? Must be something I'm missing? I've tried everything I know to do. I'll have to wait for a response.
Help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Hello,
If you specified the local video folder correctly then the images/stories/videos past is not required.
Check the example snippet at the - Supported Video & Audio Formats : Formats and section www.joomlaworks.net/docs/allvideos.

Video on server works: pjkinann.com/goapplego/images/videos/IMG_9024.MOV
According to www.joomlaworks.net/docs/allvideos (which is the link you gave me above), I have set the video parameters.
In AllVideos, under video parameters > local video folder > I have set: images/stories/videos
The snippet I put on my joomla page is
{mov}IMG_9024.MOV{/mov}
I even changed the name of the video thinking maybe the title was messing things up. But that didn't work either.
Still have a Q and ? in video www.goapplego.co/index.php/about-us
On that same page I have an image gallery that works fine and it has a snippet of {gallery}storephotos{/gallery} -- that works fine with the same procedure. And my images are in the the folder 'storephotos' in the 'image' folder.

Your code snippet should be {mov}IMG_9024{/mov}

This is just unbelievable, because I've tried everything I can think of. I have a gallery on that page that works just fine with the snippet: {gallery}storephotos{/gallery} Same type of plugin.
I set the video parameters > local video folder > a couple different ways.
images/ then just images, then images/videos and images/videos/ then of course putting the video in the appropriate folder according to the parameters I set.
Video still has a question mark in the middle of it.

I notice you don't have the .mov extension on the name of the video. But I tried both ways, with the .mov and without as you have shown above. Neither one works.Your code snippet should be {mov}IMG_9024{/mov}
