Dear JW forum,

Using Joomla 2.5.14 and AllVideos 4.5.0
Plugin enabled, template classic, no autoplay, JS compressing on and the plugin is first in the ordering.
Still, I see no videos, but the player is there, see ;

Not the first time I have encountered this problem, but there doesn't seem to be an allround solution.

Can someone help?

Addendum:
In my webaddress bar, I had a shile saying: content blocked, when I disabled this blockade, my video returned!
Never happend to me before, how possible?

Hi. This is a known issue and has to do with the latest version of some browsers blocking non https content when the page is served via https. The fix will be included in the next release. Until then you can apply it for Youtube Videos by replacing /plugins/content/jw_allvideos/jw_allvideos/includes/sources.php with the file raw.githubusercontent.com/joomlaworks/allvideos/master/plugin/jw_allvideos/includes/sources.php.

Hi there, I did as you said to do, but now I only see the tags. I do have the plugin enabled, I tried reinstalling, followed by replacing the file. Still same result; I only see the tags.

You are putting the video tag inside Virtuemart. I think Virtuemart has an option for parsing content plugins in product description. You need to find it and enable it.

I have found the option 'enable Joomla plugins', but it was enabled all the time. However I did find something else; if I put the same tags on a diferent page, I get the same result, just the tags and no video. The plugin is indeed enabled, could it be the editor?

It could be the editor in case it was inserting HTML markup into the tag. But looking at your page source the tag is clear. So you need to check again two things:

1. The content plugins are enabled in Virtuemart settings.
2. The AllVideos plugin is enabled.
3. You insert the video tag in the product description, not in a different field.

I checked all three of them;
1. It was enabled
2. It was enabled
3. It is in the Product description

Something else maybe?

Try to use the same tag in a Joomla! article. If it works, the ask the Virtuemart developers why content plugins are not parsed in product descriptions.

Hi there, the videos ar enow being loaded!
I updated to VM 2.6.0 and Joomla 2.5.19
However, now I encounter http https problems.
The links (all from youtube) are begin loaded with http, but our website is all https.
Therefore, it is being blocked.
The videos are begin called but blocked because of security reasons.
I should rewrite the code so that everything is https, any idea how?

It works! Instead of removing the http, I added an s, which works as well.
