Allvideos plugin not rendering, ordering? was created by Simon Greener
I really like Allvideos, and have used it many times on Joomla 2.5 and 3.x sites. However I have a problem with the plugin not rendering. The plugin is sensitive to the ordering set in the plugin settings, and have experimented with altering it to make it work, but it breaks other features when it is rendering Allvideos links.

www.adamgreenermusic.co.uk/blog is page containing articles in a 'Category Blog' menu. The Allvideo links will not render with the Allvideo plugin order set as it is. If I change the order so the videos render the article titles are hidden.

What can I do?

I have also found the the Allvideo plugin link rendering is sensitive to Disqus, which is also installed (currently in the last order position). If I disable it the Allvideo plugin starts to work, so perhaps my issue is the position of the Diqus plugin?

The permutations of ordering are vast. Some guidance would be much appreciated.

I think I solved my own problem. I found this: www.nonumber.nl/news/blog/242-plugin-order-is-important

The article explains that the best ordering for your system plugins is:
  1. Any other plugins
  2. SEO and SEF plugins
  3. Cache plugins

So with my order change to place Disqus as the last plugin was a clear mistake, and I updated the Disqus order field to Allvideos (so it is processed after Allvideos). The result - article titles are shown, the Allvideo videos are redered, and Disqus comments are also working.

While I do not have a way to identify SEO/SEF plugins from cache plugins, I can say that the plugins for application features should be placed higher in the order.

I hope this helps others.
