MP4 starting image? was created by Christo
Hi.
I read somewhere that the starting image for a flw video can be provided as a jpeg file in the same directory with the same filename.
I tried the same with a mp4 video with no success. Auto-start playing is not desirable.
So, I am asking for help.
Thanks in advance.

Auto playing can be added/removed by using the manual snippet.
More can be found here: www.joomlaworks.net/support/docs/allvideos
If you are using K2 the autoplay setting is located under the category's settings.
Is there a link I can see for the image issue?

Thanks, Krikor.
Anyway, my question has not been understood, I am afraid.
At the link below, you can find a video displayed by AllVideos on Joomla:
33ou-lulin.org/index.php/galleries/81-gallery/110-2-2014
I would like, before start playing which is done manually, some image to be displayed instead of the black frame which can be seen now. The JWPLAYER logo is acceptable, turning autoplay option on is not desirable. (There is no such problem with the autoplay option set.)
In this case, the video file is in mp4 format. The first frame in it is not black/blank.
I have read somewhere that the "before-start" image for a flw video can be provided as a jpeg file in the same directory with the same filename. tried the same with this mp4 video with no success.
That's why I am asking for help.

I cannot see an image here. Did you try uploading that image?

Hello,
I have the same issue. Tried putting both jpg and jpeg image in same directory with MP4 video. Does not display image prior to starting video.
Do I need to add code in the editor?

@jon
Hi. No you don't have edit any code. Just ensure that you have the latest version of AllVideos and that the name of the image is correct.
