background shows up transparent was created by sashido
Hi!
I have the following problem. Till the recent time the plugin worked fine. But now I'm experiencing the following problem. The background of the player controlbar shows up transparent. and the progress bar is also transparent.
I have responsive mode of the player, joomla 3.3
on the plugin settings page I have everything set to black. I have also tried the other colors - no luck. css styles of the plugin divs, which I can see through console, have no background. I can manually via console and then via css, add the styles, but I suppose it should be better done via coding
I tried the classic mode. when set to classic mode it shows up black, but still no progress bar.
Could you please help me on that??? Really appreciate it!

Hi. I don't see any issues in your page. The player displays fine.

Just tested in Chrome and it works fine there also. No transparencies in the progress bar.

that's strange then. on my pc it doesn't show up. I see only two sile black vertical balks (the vertical borders) and the controllers (play/pause, sound)
look at the printscreen in the attached files.
what could the problem possibly be?

What's your Chrome version? I just tested again both under Mac and Windows with latest Chrome and it still works fine for me. Do you have any kind of special browser addons installed?

Hi,
Version of Chrome is 38.0.2125.111 m
I have no addons.... It's still not working.
I work with windows 8.0
Before it worked fine.
with video player (youtube file) everything works ok www.ourenglishclass.eu/funny-videos-in-english.
on the page where I for the first noticed the problem the player is displayed within the component, so I thought that it may be a conflict of some kind. So I published the very same mp3 file on the other page www.ourenglishclass.eu/library , just an article. With the same result though.
I just want to figure it out in case that some users could experience the same problem....
thank you very much!
regards,
Aleksandra

Tested again the new link and it still works for me. This sounds like a CSS conflict . Since i cannot reproduce the issue i cannot troubleshoot it. Can you try to use the Chrome developer tools to inspect the element? Are you familiar with that?

yeah, I have inspected the scc.... I see no errors at the script, or no files that are not found and yet....
I see the strange thing happening with the span.jwbackground. (I suppose that is the thing which is responsible for the background) The image that should be loaded has a link:
data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAEAAAAeCAYAAADtlXTHAAAAN0lEQVR42mMQFRW/x2RiYqLI9O3bNwam////MzAxAAESARQCsf6jcmFiOLkIoxAGEGIBmSAHAQBWYyX2FoQvwgAAAABJRU5ErkJggg==
and it is not loading properly. because via console I see it in the resourses, it loads, also no "file not found error".
I can make the background color via css styles whatever I like.... just don;t really understand what's happening...

Have you tried to just clean your browser's cache? The span.jwbackground background image is loaded fine for me. Does this open in your browser data:image/png;base64,iVBORw0KGgoAAAANSUhEUgAAAAEAAAAeCAYAAADtlXTHAAAAN0lEQVR42mMQFRW/x2RiYqLI9O3bNwam////MzAxAAESARQCsf6jcmFiOLkIoxAGEGIBmSAHAQBWYyX2FoQvwgAAAABJRU5ErkJggg== ? You should see a 1pixel width image in the upper left part of the screen.

I have cleaned browser chache and cache of the joomla from backend.
the image is found and loads. I see it on the Resources via console. Dimentions 1 x 30 px that should be repeat -x. maybe there something goes wrong?

I really don't know since all my tests are working fine. Have you tried from a different computer?
