Easy Question was created by nothingworks
I just can't figure this out. I must be stupid.
Where do I embed {youtube}blahblah{/youtube} ?
I've tried putting it everywhere and nothing ever works.
Can someone give me a sample of the code required just to add a simple youtube video?
I've published the mambot.
I view the html source and I've tried everything.

nothing ...
Any help is appreciated.

Ok, I have another easy (4U) question... Sorry but I am a real newbie!
I am trying to embed an mp4 file and the instructions seem easy enough BUT it's not working. I originally put the file into my own images/Media/Video subfolder as the mentioned default, images/stories/video, didn't exist after I installed the mambot. I changed the Local Video File parameter and published the mambot. ({mp4}images/media/video/myvideofile{/mp4}).
When that didn't work, I created the default folder, changed the pointer and re-uploaded the file; I even tried changing the file permissions to include X ({mp4}myvideofile{/mp4}).
The page starts loading Quicktime then just goes off... no error message... nothing... just an inactive "Q" with a "?"... ???
Is it an issue with file location? File type? Security? Other parmeter settings? What am I missing? :-[
Using Vista, IE7, Joomla 1.0, AllVideo plugin v2.x, Quicktime 7
Anything will help! Thanks!
