Hello, I am new to plugins and need some help.
I am using Joomla1.5 with its integrated tinyMCE WYSIWYG editor.
I downloaded allvideo pluging and installed it.
- First, I've seen that the instructions are not formateed and do appear as a html text. But the installation seems to be successful and I do see the parameters.
- Next I created an article and pasted the following text in the tinyMCE editor
{avi}MyVideo{/avi}
saved the article and created a menu item to point to this article....Hoping the video will show up when I preview the site and click on that menu item....
What I get is the text I pasted...and nothing else....
Am I doing something wrong ? your help is really appreciated.

You need to publish the mambot first before it will work.

I have indeed enabled the plugin in the plugin manager. But still the same result. Only the text appears...all I have is an article with the following line typed in the tinyMCE editor
{avi}JustMarried{/avi}
looks like someone else had this issue...I don;t know how did he solve it.

have you tried entering the code in the HTML view? Sometimes the WYSIWYG can have strange effects on mambots...

As an FYI - its works great for me using JCE editor.

No luck yet... Is this plugin compatibe with Joomla1.5 ?
what do you have in your html file ...do we need embed tags in the html file ?
or the same line {avi}myvideo{/avi} is enough ?

Finally..I got it working by switching to Joomla1.0x
looks like allvideo pluging has some issues with Joomla1.5

Is there any workaround for the mambot to work fine in Joomla 1.5 (legacy enabled) ?
I've experienced problems with other plugins too :(
