Love your plugin and look forward to your new release.I hope you have addressed all that flash has to offer.

In the meantime, if you are trying to embed a .swf file and don't see your controls, comments, action script stuff the best you can do is not to embed your .swf file but rather your .flv file, i.e. {flv}meandmac_inter_1afinal{/flv}

Allvideos will project it's own control surface.

Hope this helps.

This has actually nearly solved a problem that has be bugging me for ages. Which is that I didn't get controls on my videos. The only problem now is that the All videos pluggin compresses the video to 4:3 instead of 16:9 that it was shot in.

Here's the link

Is there a way to change this?

Any advice would be wicked.

Thanks

Jon

Might be able to help here, having gone through the same irritation myself creating swf's for www.meditate-in-minutes.co.uk .

1. Ensure that when you encode the SWF, you put the correct URL for the skin you're using (if you're using the Adobe Flash method using import video)

2. I found that for some reason, some of the original files I was using to create the flv/swf were not actually coming out as widescreen but were square.  Not sure why but got the client to re-do them and they worked ok.

3. Make sure your dimensions of your stage are set correctly when you encode

There is a really useful tutorial from Adobe on this subject which I'll try to find for you if it would help?

The issue may be related to allvideos master settings under "mambots", "allvideos", look to right side of page under, "parameters" and adjust your master video width and height of a 16:9 screen or 873 x 480. I don't beleive allvideos supports varying video sizes at this time, but I could be incorrect. This is my experience with the plugin.

The funny thing is I can change the size of the stage, as it is now the stage is 16:9 however the video is squished into the middle in 4:3. I actually pulled the .flv off my server and chucked another on which is definately 16:9... same happens.

Just tried it to the exact dimensions you suggested, the stage got bigger and the video got proportionally bigger but still 4:3, maybe the plugin does not support 16:9 as yet?

Does anyone know when the next version will be available?
