I use the plugin to stream videos, which I have uploaded to GoogleVideo. When I stream the video from GoogleVideo using the plugin, then a GoogleVideo Logo is shown in the player...(roland-arranger.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=59&Itemid=80) I believe I saw in the documentation that one of the benefits fro using the plugin is that you then don't have to see the logos from the remote host company... Am I wrong in believing so? Please advise ;)

Only if you upload in your site your own videos. If so, prefer to use FLV or MOV formats. Obviously removing the logo from Google Video is not possible...  ;)
