I have the following problem.

I have recently discovered that on android smartphone (Samsung galaxy sII) and samsung tab the audio files are not played properly.

I use the allvideos plugin inside a component there, a quizz. (the user answers the questions after he/she hears the tape)

When I click on the play button on these android devices, it does something like submitting a form. Instead of hearing the track, I'm sent to the results of the quizz (submitting the form occurs).

Everything is working fine on desktop.

Hi. What's the browser you are using on this device? I just tested in an Android tablet with the latest version of Firefox and everything worked fine. I got a prompt to select the desired action ( donwload the file or play it in the sound player ) .

I have an application "Internet" where I've noticed this. on both devices.
I have just checked it on firefox on samsung galaxy phone. The strange thing is that in the vertical mode it "submits" and won't play. And in landscape it plays. No promts. It is also strange because I don't want this file to be downloaded and (I've just checked it for sure ) it is also set so "allow download : NO" in the plugin.

If your Android version is too old there might be an incompatibility issue. Don't expect the latest HTML5 audio to be played in an outdated device. Regarding the download function, there is nothing you can do about this. The option in the plugin does not affect how the browser will handle the audio file.
