Firstly thanks for version 2.5... Very much appreiciated...

One question I reckon I must be doing something stupid, if you have a look at

www.ginclearfilm.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=38&Itemid=1

Files are the same in the same aspect ratio, but the Flv has been compressed and the swf file has no player...

Can anyone tell me what I need to do to get the either the flv or the swf playing with a player and with the correct aspect ratio?

Thanks

Regarding the FLV, I'm guessing it's created that way. The player wouldn't interfere in some way...

Regarding the SWF, if I go directly to:
www.ginclearfilm.com/images/stories/videos/cc_consultinLg_Prog_hig001.swf
...I get a black screen. So it's the SWF, not the player.

I just went to the link and got the video playing on auto play?

Regarding the FLV file it is definitely 16:9... I have re-checked that...

Just re did the process again on a different page

www.ginclearfilm.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=29&Itemid=47

Top file is a 16:9 FLV when it starts for a fraction of a second it is correct then it gets compressed to 4:3

Second file is a straight swf and play with no player

Any ideas anyone... really would love some help on this as it's been driving me mad for months!!

Thanks in advance

Ended up just encoding a H264 .mov file and uploaded that.. not ideal but better than nothing.

If anyone does have a solution please give me a shout.

Thanks

Jon

This is a KNOWN problem with FLV files on AllVIDEOS.  I have asked for support 100 times with NO Answer...  .Mov files are not an answer as flv is standard.  I have resorted to jmediabot to load my video files.
