Hey everyone,
Im runnning a LAMP server with Ubuntu Hardy and PHP5.
I successfully installed the AllVideo Plugin and moved a video to (/var/www/joomla15/)images/stories/videos.
Its called abc.flv
So when i write {flv}abc.flv{/flv} the player tells me that the video cant be found.
When i navigate to the video itself directly, i get following message:
Forbidden

You don't have permission to access /joomla15/images/stories/videos/abc.flv on this server.
Apache/2.2.8 (Ubuntu) PHP/5.2.4-2ubuntu5.3 with Suhosin-Patch Server at 10.4.24.113 Port 80

The answer is real simple...you need to remove the .flv from the file name and it will find the file!

lol, sounds obvious but still, it doesnt work. Seems like the access is denied.
the file is called abc and the code in the joomla page is {flv}abc{/flv}.
