How can upgrade to jwplayer version 7 with ALLVIDEO plugin.
JW Player 7 is faster and smarter than the previous version. They've also removed their watermark from the free version and allowed you to include your own branding.

I tried to post the full answer here, but it keeps rejecting my reply as spam. As a side note, this is an extremely irritating issue with the Joomlaworks forum.

Anyway, I posted the answer under your Github topic. This should have already been addressed by the team in the form of the solution or an update. It's been months since the release JW Player 7.

Really, the easiest way is to just load the player from CDN.

Do not complain about time, this is an open source extension. If you have an implementation with the new version of the player you can always create a pull request in the extension repository at GitHub.

I'm fully aware that it's an open source (free) extension, and it wasn't a complaint as much as it was a general observation/opinion. AllVideos is great, and I've always praised it and appreciated the team's work.
However, regardless of that, it's been three months since the release of JW 7, two months since his request for assistance and 7 months since the last AV update. His Github topic was also not addressed to date. In 10 minutes I discovered the work-around. I only felt that even though it's a free extension, someone could've told him how to manually update. I'm quite sure the team knew the work-around. Being free isn't an excuse, as other providers have already updated their open-source extensions.

That's only my friendly thought. No matter, AV is great, the best of it's kind, and I surely appreciate the work JoomlaWorks has done. They have my full appreciation.
