Hi guys, i have checked through forum and still no joy.
Have been at this for days now simply trying to play audio on my site with various players and happy to pay, seemingly allvideos is the best anyway.

I want only MP3 audio.

Uploaded allvideos to plugins no probs. setting for folder on that Local Audio Folder - images/audio

Uploaded mp3 to images/stories/audio as suggested and have (allowed/added) through Global Configuration mp3 files.

Then following these instructions www.ostraining.com/blog/joomla/play-mp3-files-on-your-joomla-site/

I then went to article manager and created a new article Example Pages and Menu Links and set that at (uncategorised)

I then added {mp3}justvr.mp3{mp3} The name of the mp3 of course justvr.mp3.

Have tried every single configuration known to humanity over 9 hours and still nothing.

I will happily pay someone via paypal to help me resolve this so i can sleep easy over the weekend!!!
I really appreciate all of your time and help.

Not a fan of giving in, equally banging ones head against the wall is not going to get me anywhere!!!!

Hey guys so this morning in the spirit of not giving up i checked my audio works and is correct.

www.vegasrays.com/images/stories/audio/justvr.mp3

it does and it is.

Also after more research i noted that in the new article the name to refer to the audio needed to as such.

{mp3}justvr.mp3{/mp3}


When i refreshed this page the audio is not showing in the article, maybe something is blocking that.
I have added the mp3 to my global configuration media, this thought suggest something is blocking it somewhere.

Thanks to whoever can help. Also i am actively looking for a person to help me with my Joomla template going forward so any experts out there please feel free to contact me.

I suggest to take a read at the documentation page at www.joomlaworks.net/support/docs/allvideos .

Here are two mistakes i noticed:

1. You have set the plugin root folder to images/audio while your file is located under images/stories/audio .

2. The tag you are using is incorrect. The file extension should not get included in the tag.

I have throughly read through all documentation quite a few times, seems not thoroughly enough!!

Changed the root folder as suggested and removed the tag extra mp3 as suggested.

images/stories/audio

{mp3}justvr{/mp3}

These are the setting have on all video itself.
Running out of ideas to be honest.

Yup still nothing and don't even see the mp3 (apart from the code inserted) in the article manager.
I don't see the player on my website but not sure if that is hidden.
I would have thought if was working would at leat see the bar even if it is not finding the mp3 file.
Nothing at all.
About to give up after days looking at it.

Is there a link to the page with the issue?
