MP4 videos not playing was created by Craig

Hi

Im having problem getting mp4 videos to play.

Im getting the following error:

Error loading media: File could not be played.

The video folder config is set to images/videos

The link in my article is: {mp4}20150704_153853{/mp4}

Any ideas?

I have tried several other videos.

Hi,

Is there a link to the page? According to your configuration the video should be located at images/videos/20150704_153853.mp4 .

Try to use the development version from github.com/joomlaworks/allvideos/archive/master.zip and let me know if the issue is resolved.

I have installed the master plugin but unfortunately I'm still getting the same error message: Error loading media: File could not be played.

Hi

I have already tried a different video. Its wierd because you can access the video directly via dev.ibsschoolswebsites.co.uk/sample-site-g/images/videos/20150704_153853.mp4

Is there any other config I need to tweek in joomla?

Try a different video and it should work. If not, then it's possible that something is wrong on your server setup and your server is not serving the file with the correct headers.

Hi

sorry, my English is to bad. I have the same problem and I analyzed it. What I can say is the following. If you have a Video created with AVCHD 1920*1080 it works fine with AllVideos. But if you make a video with XAVC with the same solution (has also the container mp4) it does't works with AllVideos. Also 4K in XAVC does't work.

Thanks for your Info.

What i do is:
Edior: Premiere Pro
Framereate: 50P
BitRate 50MBit/s
The Timeline is 16 Min.23", the outputfile is XXX.mp4 and the Outputfile is 5.8GB. When I work with a Bitrate 8MBit/s the Video plays, but not with a BitRate 50MBit/s
