Hi

I am using joomla 1.5.26 (old i know but cant find the time to go through the upgrades yet) and allvideos 4.7.0

The videos i am adding are stored locally and will load without any problems, but before they are playing I have a black screen rather than a proper thumbnail.

I have chosen an image and named it the same as the video and saved in the same folder but tried with both a png and jpg extension and they are not showing up.

Help would be greatly appreciated

I was trying to use an mp4 format but I converted them to flv and as soon as I did that the thumbnails started showing up. Sorry I didn't reply sooner ended up working away with it lat night so only seen your reply this morning.

For future reference, do thumbnails work with mp4 at all?

I cannot verify the issue. Just tested and thumbnails are working fine for me with MP4 videos.
