New Install-- Error msg when displaying page was created by Keith Mauney
ERROR MESSAGE in AllVideos- new installation
Help: Just installed AllVideos on Joomla 3.4. Uploaded videos to medial library (images/stories) as example-text-text.mp4 or ex-txt-txt.swf. Entered code as {mp4}example-text-text{/mp4} or same sort of process for swf files.
With either file type I get a black video frame with "JWPlayer" logo in UR corner and "Error loading media. file could not be played."
I don't have a JW Player extension or plugin on the site and there's no documentation to dig through. don;t want to use Youtube, cuz it shows all the commercial stuff.
Thanks for any expert help!

Hi,
There is documentation. You can find it at www.joomlaworks.net/support/docs/allvideos .
The first thing you need to check is that the path is correct. Is the "Local videos folder" option of the plugin set to "images/stories" ? The plugin is looking for videos in the "Local videos folder" plus the path you enter in the tag.

Thanks! Here's what I tried:
1) created new subfolder in Stories (untitled). Could't change folder name so I got eXtplorer 2.1.8 to be able to rename that folder to "Videos". Explorer is not found in plugins (or anywhere else).
2) set file path in Allvideos to images/stories/unnamed. Got same error message as before.
Perhaps I should just embed from Youtube.... I appreciate your help!

Where is your video located? If it is located under images/stories/unnamed/test.mp4 for example you need to:
1. Set the local video folder option to "images/stories/unnamed" .
2. Use the tag {mp4}test{/mp4} .
