I have tried to get it working in two ways:
HTML 5:
<p>
<video autoplay="autoplay" controls="controls" width="320" height="240">
<source src="images/videos/tapning.mp4" type="video/mp4" />
</video>
</p>
And mp4 tag:
{mp4}tapning|320|240|1{/mp4}
Non of them is working in Safari, both are working in Chrome and Edge

I don't see any issues. The two videos which are rendered by the plugin are working fine for me in Safari.

I suggest to just use the plugin tags for videos rendering.
