I have a Joomla 3.8 website. I just installed AllVideos v4.7.0. Admittedly I am new to this plug-in, never having used it before, so I may be doing something wrong, but when I follow the documentation to embed my video in an article, the video doesn't load, instead it just shows filename{/mp4}

The setup and the code in the article are correct. Are you using any other third-party content plugins? Is there a link to the page?

Has this been resolved? I am having the exact problem. Its as if the plugin won't enable or load and just displays the plugin code.

I'm using this in a virtuemart environment but it has worked successfully in the past.

I do have JFB Connect, K2 and AcyMailing running but disabling their plugins still results in the same issue.

Try the development version from github.com/joomlaworks/allvideos/archive/master.zip .

Nope, still doesn't work. Turned off all plugins and modules as well as switched templates - no luck.

Earlier Allvideo versions don't work either.

Tried different formats: .mov, flv, mpeg - no luck either. It's as if the plugin is not being loaded.

Any suggestions?

Ensure that content plugins are enabled for Virtuemart. As far as i remember Virtuemart only supports content plugins in the product full description.

Found the content enabler in the Virtuemart configuration section under "enable joomla plugin"
