I am on Joomla 3.5.1 using AllVideo 4.8.0 and PHP 5.5.35

I have set the File location in the plugin to images and made it Enabled. In the article I have used the code
The full path to the file is poolrenovation.co.za/files/images/videos/01_baracuda_mx8.mpg

It seemed that mpg format isn't supported. Changed to flv and all working.

This seems like an encoding error, I would suggest that you either use a service like YouTube or Vimeo or, use an mp4 h.264 encoding.

Thank you very much. The videos are displaying and working fine just that before you play them they are a plain black window - no image.

Try a adding a jpg with the same filename in the folder where the video is stored.
