Can'r play videos anymore. Want's to install Silverlight

On of my sites don't play videos anymore. Instead of playing videos, a link to install Microsoft Silverlight is displayed. I haven't changed those articles for ages and I am sure it worked once. It even worked on IPhone and IPad. I have no clue, since when the videos aren't displayed anymore. Probably since I upgraded to Joomla 3.7.2
Interesting thing is, that regardless whether I insert a correct path to the video file or just some rubbish, I always get the "Install Silverlight" message
I already tried out the latest "plugin/jw_allvideos/includes/elements/base.php" from GitHub, but to no avail.
Can anybody give me support?
Thank you very much in advance
Michael

Unfortunately, I can't send you a link to the site because it's a company internal site and confidential, but I'll try to reproduce the faulty behavior on a public site and I'm going to send you that link.
Thank you very much for your support

I am using WMV Videos. As I told you, that worked perfectly in the past. Meanwhile I could reproduce the behavior on a different site. Here is the link:
surfclub-rorschach.ch/index.php/links/11-maincontent/22-testvideo
I also wanted to mention, that I installed Silverlight but it still doesn't work.
If you need, I could grant you temporarily administrative rights to the backend.
Thank you very much for your support

Nice place to live :-)
Meanwhile, I removed Greece from GeoBlocking. Can you try it again?
Thank you so much

The plugin is working as expected, however wmv files are not support without a browser plugin. This is why you are getting prompted about this. This is not related to the plugin but to the video's format.
I would suggest using a more cross-browser compatible format like mp4/h264.

Hmm, I still cannot understand, why it worked in the past even with the Google Browser on Iphone and Ipad. And - Silverlight IS installed on my computer and it still doesn't work.
Thanks again
