You will receive support, there is no question about it.
As for my previous post which doesn't really have to do with you :)
Claiming to be a professional in the web industry and talking like that is unacceptable. A human being is on the other end of the forum, so if you can't behave and act like an adult who is asking for free assistance then you have no place here.
Furthermore JWPlayer is still being used for formats not-supported formats like flv or m4a. For other formats Clappr is being used.
Was this file working prior to the update with JWPlayer?
Can you try with a mp3 file?

Are you saying the AllVideos plugin uses JWPlayer?
It was working perfectly until I did the upgrade. Like I said before the videos work, just not the audio.
Thanks, Chuck

In the latest version JWPlayer was updated as well.
(github.com/joomlaworks/allvideos/tree/master/plugin/jw_allvideos/includes/js)
In the newer specs some obsolete file types are not supported, this is why I am asking so many questions. If it is related to file type then we need to find a workaround (eg: an older Flash version).
Finally, can you try with an mp3 file?

I have been happily playing aac files with the .m4a extension for the last five months using the 4.7.0 version of AllVideos audio player with the {m4a} {/m4a} tag.
With AllVideos 4.8.0 these tags no longer work and give the error already reported message.
So I changed the tags to {mp4} {/mp4}, which is what the current AllVideos documentation help files say. I now get a very black rectangular player instead of the usual narrow strip shape player but this doesn’t play. Please see this for an example gbcweb.tv/bible-teaching-videos/2017/3383-your-money-where-your-heart-is
I would also like to report that’s with this new version of AllVideos 4.8.0 the audio player (when playing .mp3 files) is not displaying properly - it is only half the length it used to be so you can’t see the player controls in several browsers in my iPad.
I hope you can sort this out.
As per your suggestion I tried mp3 files and they work perfectly so again this is a serious software issue in the new version of AllVidos’s 4.8.0 audio player. Would you like admin access to my website so you I can see for yourself?
Thanks,
Andy Wilson

I will prepare some fixes for the audio template.
@Andy, switching to mp4 requires a valid mp4 file (h264 encoding).
The file's URL resolved to a 404 error gbcweb.tv//images/videos/2017/24%20Your%20money%20where%20your%20heart%20is%20-%20Warren%20McNeil%20-%2016-07-2017-AAC.mp4

Thank you very much for you new advice, this sounds good.
I have discovered that in my case the “Invalid licence key” error appears to be caused by whatever is causing a File not found 404 error with all my AAC encoded .m4a files. Strange that this only affects the AAC files that were created with the most recent version of Apple Compressor 4, not the .mp3 files that were also created with Compressor.
The BIG question is: why did it work perfectly with AllVideos 3.80? Nothing has changed on my website, except for the AllVideos 4.8.0 upgrade.
Your continued help would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy Wilson

And the proper file is a m4a file. That is the one making the error Error setting up player: Invalid license key
Here is the code I am using
{mp3}Barred-Owl{/mp3}
{m4a}Hurry-Back-Timberjack{/m4a}
When can you fix both these errors?

I cannot verify the m4a issue, tried multiple m4as
Here are my settings jmp.sh/daOpADW which should be identical to yours pretty much.
You can still use JWPlayer for mp3s which offers the old UI.
In this line github.com/joomlaworks/allvideos/blob/master/plugin/jw_allvideos/includes/sources.php#L155 (the file and path is listed on the page)
Change $clapprEmbed to $jwPlayerEmbed

And that we shouldn't upgrade AllVideos on other websites because it's going to break their too?

It has been quite a struggle hasn’t it. I have found a workaround that is perfect for me and I hope this helps you and others suffering the same problem.
1) Uninstall AllVideos 4.8
2) clear both caches (just to be safe)
3) downgrade to AllVideos 4.7 again
4) clear both caches again
My needs are simple - to play YouTube videos and .m4a AAC audio files hosted on my website. For me, there was no need to upgrade to 4.8 so I shall be happy to stay with 4.7 until either it stops working or 4.8 has been fixed.
If you haven’t got a copy of 4.7 and you can’t obtain it from Joomlaworks or from any other source please let me know and I will be happy to make it available to you via email.
Thanks,
Andy Wilson

I did have a copy of the 4.7.0 AllVideos player.
So I followed your directions and I everything looks good and is working again.
Too bad it's taken four pages of forum posts and all this wasted time to get to this point. Now my client is happy and we can launch the website!
Thanks Andy for your help and persistence. Hopefully, they will fix the bug in the product because I really like it!

Version 4.7.0 does not work with PHP 7.0.
I need to update websites but can't until this bug is fixed.

I'm using PHP 7 and version 4.7.0 and have no problems playing YouTube videos and .m4a AAC audio files hosted on my website.
I seem to recall that before I downgraded from 4.8 to 3.8 the audio player worked with .mp3 files.
Anyway, if 4.8 doesn't work for you just uninstall it and reinstall 4.7.
I hope that helps.
Thanks,
Andy Wilson
