{mp4}ASummerWithoutBoys{/mp4}
I have confirmed that the video exists and works, by going directly to the URL of:
xds.website/tvclassics/images/stories/videos/ASummerWithoutBoys.mp4
You can see that NO video is displayed in the product detail page at:
xds.website/tvclassics/index.php/en/1970s-tv-films-on-dvd/1970-1979-tv-films-on-dvd/a-summer-without-boys-1973-detail
I have tried a number of different paths and filenames and nothing will work. I have only been able to play YouTube videos (so I know the plugin works) but I am not intersted in playing videos from there, I need them to play from my local website.
Any assistance much appreciated. Thanks.

There are several JS issues which prevent the site and thus the extension to function properly -> jmp.sh/SWpNNoY
While to some extent the same issues are present with the default template the video is functioning xds.website/tvclassics/index.php/en/1970s-tv-films-on-dvd/1970-1979-tv-films-on-dvd/a-summer-without-boys-1973-detail?template=protostar

I've to pick up this thread. Because I've the very same problem after the update to 4.8.
On my server the mp4 files are stored and have been played prior the update to 4.8.
You can see it on the site: www.familiental.com/de/familiental-entdecken/live/videos.html
The first three videos are m4v and working well, but video 4 (the one with the cow an biker in the thumbnail) will not start if you click on play. This is one of the mp4 files.
I checked the site for JS errors, but there are only 2 minor warnings.
I don't know how to get the videos working again.
Can you please help me with this?
With kind regards
René Glanzer

I'm using Firefox 57.0.4 (64-Bit) on a Windows 10 machine. But I also checked it with IE11 and Chrome Version 63.0.3239.132 (Offizieller Build) (64-Bit).
Only in Firefox the Player is not starting, other 2 browsers are OK.
Don't know what to do here?
With kind regards
René Glanzer

I reverted to AllVideos 4.7.x and all browsers now show the local video.

the problem is our customer reported the error on his page. So I'm not able to tell whether the error also occured on previous FF versions.
My only plugins are: Imgur Image
But as additional info, the player only works (also in the other browsers) when I set the option "JW player location" to CDN. When i switch it to local, no video in no browser will show up: Imgur Image

sorry to ask again. But do you have any clues what this might be?
Sincerely

I now installed the 4.8 Version and without any other changes all viedeos are working as exprected in all browsers.
So there have to be a problem in version 4.7.
But thanks anyway, as the 4.8 version solved my problem.
Sincerely,
René Glanzer

If you indeed uninstalled 4.7, then installed 4.8 rather than an upgrade over 4.7, please let us know as that may be a clue as to why an upgrade is not working.
Thanks.

the problem was solved by installing the new version V4.8. After this installation with no other change to the code all videos revert back to playing as expected. So there definitly was an error in the V4.7 version.
Thanks for the fix anyway.
Sincerely,
René Glanzer
