AllVideos "Error code: html5_video: 3" was created by Patrick Siebrecht

Hello, I have installed with the All Video Plugin. I have now put a test way times a video in a post. I can also watch the video on the laptop, but my smartphone is not. There I get the error message: Error code: html5_video: 3

I have the same Problem. The Video first Plays properly - everything is fine - but after about one Minute, it stops and says 'error code: html5_video:3'.

Somebody any idea for that?

Thanks for the answer. I have the plugin installed. I still can not watch it on my smartphone. The same error as described above.

The error code 3 is a decode error, which means your browser can't decode the video (developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/API/MediaError). Have you tried a different video file?

Yes, I have uploaded the video as a wmv, because I get on the PC and the smartphone shows nothing more, except advertising of Microsoft Silveright.

Try using more modern format or formats that are not windows specific. These formats cannot be played back on smartphones. Neither FLV. Try mp4 or mov or webm and you'll be fine. It'll be very easy to find a transcoder to convert your WMV files to MP4 (lots of great freeware or open source apps to do that).

E.g. this is great on a Mac: macroplant.com/adapter/video-converter
