mp3 will not play [SOLVED] was created by Jo
Hello
I'm using the latest versions of Joomla 3.9.12 and K2 2.9.0
I have followed the instructions from this tutorial: www.joomlashack.com/blog/joomla/play-mp3-files-on-your-joomla-site/
As per the instructions on the tutorial mentioned above, I added: application/octet-stream,audio/mpeg, to the legal mime types and uploaded the mp3 file in a directory; media/audio
The audio tools show up on the site as you can see here: woblibrary.com but will not play.
When I checked the audio address (right click) it shows that it is trying to find the file in a k2 directory: /media/k2/audio
So I created another couple of directories in /media/ for k2 and audio
However, it is still not playing.
Anyone got any insights?
Many thanks
Jo

With K2, you don't need to manually create any folders.
Make sure you have AllVideos v5.1.0 and then head over the "Media" tab in the item form and upload your MP3 file there. Make sure that your category where the item belongs allows the display of media uploaded through the Media tab.
That's it.
