It does. But I can't possibly know why it fails on your site. Also try the following:
- Reload update info in /administrator/index.php?option=com_installer&view=updatesites
- If the above doesn't do anything, try re-installing Joomla from the "Joomla Update" component, just in case. Your data will remain intact.
