I just got the plugin today. It installed with no problems that I am aware.
I made one change in param of the plugin, video size changed to 320x256
added the directory /images/stories/videos videos was not there.

I uploaded a video "ohioten.mov" to the directory.
Then in my WYSIWYG editor I placed a <div> with align, vspace and hspace to get text wrap around the video. Inside the <div I placed {mov}ohioten{/mov} Saved it and went to look with anticipation. All I got was 320x256 Quicktime logo.

I removed the <div> to see if that was the problem, "nope".

I also tried the remote version {movremote}www.fullforceoutdoors.com/joomla/images/stories/videos/ohioten.mov{/movremote} this didn't work either. same results. Did I miss something in the docs? It seemed pretty straight forward.

I have Joomla 1.5.9 and viewing the site with the latest version of Firefox.


Any help would be great, a large part of my site will be video that I shoot and edit I need the plugin big time because it allows me to host my own video....

I too am having this issue with a .mov video file. I'm able to get other formats working, just not a .mov.

Quicktime is installed on my machine and the video plays fine from disk.

Has anyone figured this one out?

I just looked at your site, and the videos seem to be working fine!  Did you change anything, since your last post?

I have Joomla! 1.0.12 Stable. I have installed and published AllVideo 2.5.4. I but I am not able to add my video that I previously placed in /images/stories/videos. When I use youtube tags it works perfectly, but not with videos at my server!

I figured it out – although it is not written in instruction I followed, since videos are in my Video folder, anyway I tried the remote version and now it works!
