I want to remove the padding inside the flashplayer, that appears when playing a video, also the padding that appears on images used as a thumbnail

The embed code function would be nice to remove too.

ANy suggestion? is the flash-player file nescessary to change? if so, what about a fla file we can edit?

I would go into the Admin interface, and edit the video dimensions.  That should take care of your padding problems.
