I made a simple flash slideshow w/ Coffeecup software and want it to display using Allvideos as I use that for flash on all my other joomla sites.

The standalone html version of the slideshow renders fine (except in chrome), however when I embed it into joomla {swf}FILENAME{/swf}

the shell shows, but no content. I am totally stumped - any help is greatly appreciated!

I know this is a super old post, but i was just researching this myself and solved it... so i thought I would share. I had the same problem - I was using Allvideos to embed a SWF that used the SlideShowPro Flash component. It loads images from an external folder via an XML file. All ran fine locally, but when I uploaded the works to the images/stories/videos directory and embedded the SWF, the slideshow component would not play. I solved it by placing the images directory and the XML file in the root of the www/ directory of my site. Then it worked.

I'm trying to solve this very issue. I have several swfs all with XML and IMAGE refs. the root of the www already has Joomla iamge folder there, so how would I manage that?
