I'm unable to get the slider and timer to work in the play/pause bar.

It is a possibility that you are having this problem because of a wrong video conversion. Have you tried putting another video and see if it works?

if I use the following link  northandoverpublicschools.com/documents/media/Hottel.mov.ff.flv

to play the file within FireFox I see the slider.

Any thoughts as to why it plays with the slider directly but not embedded using the allvideos tag?

I just had this problem "JFolder::files: Path is not a folder" . You just need to make sure the following directories exist:
images/banners
images/M_images
images/smilies
images/stories

Please try to uninstall and reinstall the plugin.

tried reinstalling plugin. still no slider/timer
