I was hoping Allvideos would be the answer. All I want to do is stream an flv.

it streams the flv OK, except it resizes the video to a vertical orientation. This has be totally confused and frustrated, as its the 3rd FLV embedder I've tried.

When you hit play, at first its right, then it switches to the distorted view....

Here is what I've tried:
- resizing the Master video Width and height to be much large than the video itself
- messing with Margin size
- reinstalling the plugin

Any ideas ? Before I pull more hair out I must move on the something else.

Yes.
The dimensions of the FLV are the defaults set by Sorenson Squeeze
320w x 240h

so maybe.... try a master like 320*258

Keep in mind that when you choose to adjust the width and height of your videos (through the plugin's parameters) it is best to maintain a 4:3 aspect ratio and add about 5% to 6% (5,75% to be exact) of your target width to your height (for the video controls, like play, pause etc.) so that your video will not stretch and look ugly! Pay attention to this, as you will only do it once!

So, for example, if you choose to have a width of 600px, then your height should be (600 x 3/4)px + (600 x 5,75%)px = 485px. But keeping it at the default 400px width and 323px height, will suit most people's needs, since this dimension is similar to the dimensions of the original online videos!

if it doesn't work , ... maybe you have a weird pixel ratio (not image ratio) ...

I have my Master Vid with at 338px and 254px

It seems to resize it to a square orientation every time...

if you have a PC with windows, maybe you can try to re-encode your flv with www.rivavx.com/index.php?encoder&L=3

because I don't use your "Sorenson Squeeze"..

I dunno, this doesn't make any sense. It works fine with the other streaming media images like "jogadgets". The flv starts out right, but then it gets resized by AllVideosPlugin...

I don't see any setting which would control this...

I guess I'll just use another Mambot  :-\

I DON'T UNDERSTAND?!?!?!?  MANY PEOPLE HAVE ASKED ABOUT THIS BUT NO RESPONSE.  I AM CURRENTLY USING JOGADGETS TO DO THIS BUT IT SCREWS UP THE TABS PLUG IN FROM JW.  DO YOU NOT CARE THAT NO ONE CAN USE FLV FILES IN THEIR SITES?????
