3 year old problem still not solved! was created by Marcel Damen
I have a similar problem a LOT of people are having. The video files stops downloading halfway (yet says it's fully downloaded) only to stop playing halfway (usually happens on bigger files). For the last THREE YEARS I tried different file types (MOV/FLV/MP4), different browsers, different computers with the same problem (I also tried antoher component but it had the same problem). My host checked on on their side and see no problem (no mod_deflate or a mod_gzip compression of Apache) and I even paid a tecnician $200 to solve it without luck. Also on the JW player website I see similar posts going back as far as 2007 WITHOUT ANY SOLUTION (though it doesn't work with a Quicktime player either).

All I want is to play a 20 minute video on my website. Other (non Joomla) websites seem to do fine in publishing longer videos (heck, even my video plays perfectly on it!). Why can't this particular problem be solved? I see at least 50 posts on this forum too...

Does anyone do have longer videos running on their website without a problem (preferably using AllVideos) and do they care to share the sollution?

I have the same problem.

I play a lot of remote FLV videos that are around 25 min long. A lot of people have complained that videos stop loading half-way.

The only solution that I have seen that works is....tell the person to restart thier browser and/or  clear cache. Load the video up before going into full-screen. Start the video and let it play for a few seconds, then Pause it. Let the video load up all the way, and then you can go into fullscreen and hit PLAY

After fixing my line 55 issues, I'm running into this one.  :'(

I use the {wmv}Intro{wmv} format.
