We host several files remotely. Hence, when we updated the plugin to the latest version 3.1, we expected to work transparently. For example, the line:

{wmvremote width="200" height="100"}www.mysite.com/file/wmv{/wmvremote}

was expected to playback in the same way as before.

Alas, when any parameters are entered to the plugin, they are not recognised and the player does not appear. Instead, we get the full code as text.

IF we remove the parameters (eg {wmvremote}www.mysite.com/file/wmv{/wmvremote} ), then the player is displayed correctly.

Any ideas???

We run the latest Joomla, 1.5.15.

This is because you are writing the parameters in a wrong way. This is a paragraph from documentation of AllVideos:

Easy, descriptive syntax for media embedding. Use: {format/provider}filename{/format/provider}
You can also use syntax like: {format/provider}filename|width|height|autoplay{/format/provider}
For example, an "autoplaying" YouTube video of 600x450 dimensions would be displayed adding this to a content item: {youtube}he73js822|600|450|1{/youtube}.
