hi everybody

i have uploaded an mp3 and a a mp4 video. now the problems:

the article with the sound  has an slidebar, but the play button doesn't work.

the other article with the mp4 video doesn't show a slidebar.

both of them have the option to download.... means the url is the right one and the plugin is activated. has anybody an idea what could be wrong????

before and after writing the post i search around the forum. now i found probably the problem:

my articles are in a category blog layout... so i enabled the suggested module:

Plugin In Module
extensions.joomla.org/extensions/core-enhancements/embed-a-include/6713

but nothing changed... any more ideas??

nop. that was not the problem. i created a new article with a normal linking on the page and the uploaded mp3 doesn't work... youtube is working. but all the stuff i uploaded won't work. do i need a special program on my webserver... except joomla and so on  ;) ???

I changed now to the plugin JPlayer. The Video is working, but the mp3 not. I don't understand, because the basic stuff of both plugins are written from Jeroen Wijering...

perhaps there is a misunderstanding with joomla 1.5.17v2 or my mysql, php or apache version...
