I have installed the AllVideo 2.x and added the youtube video. But when I try to access the page only Blank box (video area) appairs!

Is it browser problems or on plugin ?

well it looks like you sorted this out. I have the same problem you had, however: just a blank space where the player should be, but which hyperlinks, if clicked, back to YouTube. But the browser says it is contacting YouTube as the page loads. What can I adjust to make this work please???

I have been suffering, I have not solved  ;D

My solution was to not use the AllVideo code, but just to paste the YouTube code to embed the movie on my page using the html mode in the text editor. So, out of intreest, what would have been different if I could have got the AllVideo extension to work?

Hello everybody! This is my first post, so the first thing to do is to thank Joomlaworks all the great job that they are doing for the Joomla community.

We are testing several hosting providers at our country and we've found that some of these servers (VPN's) have certain issues in their php.ini file like missing paths to dynamic libraries or missing the libralies itselves. This issues are the cause (at these server)os the blank box that is shown instead the player.

Try to get the error.log file of php and look for the warnings that tell something like: "Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/lib/php/extensions/..."

If you have access to the configuration of your server you must correct the path or install the libraries. If that's not the case, send the log file to your hosting providers to help them to solve the problem.

That is working for us, i hope that can be useful for you too.

I checked the url you send me on IE6, IE7, Firefox 2, Safari, Opera and it working fine. Please check again, and try checking it and on other computers. Make sure you have the flash player plug in.
