Leading items/categories was created by Dennie12
Hello I'm trying to resolve an issue with the Leading Items for each item/category. I have added the Numagazine template to an existing Joomla site (version 2.5.14) and although I have imported all of my items/articles, I have found that with this template each item has a grey box at the start (as shown on your Walkthroughs). The grey box on your Walkthroughs contains the image for the item. But my grey box is blank (only the name of the category is shown in the top right corner of the box). In my original Joomla site, for each category I had a module with an image and introduction to the category - did this cause a problem? I'm trying to resolve this but cannot find a setting for it in the parameters. Is this something you can help with? I have attached a screenshot -
thanks

Hello Esther,
I can see you haven't specified an image - look at this item theafrowomansezine.com/blog/item/130-the-ladies-room-here-comes-the-afro-body-beautiful
You have to specify an image through the K2 image tab or disable the images.
Either way these videos will help you understand the capabilities of K2, if you are still facing issues and having a tough time setting up a K2 site they will definitely help.

Hi,
Why are my old articles published ad lib on the homepage? I want them to be date/ascending, not just anyhow, as the older article are not relevant.

Because the ordering setting on the homepage's menu item is set to random.
You can change this to most recent.

Menus -> Main menu -> Home / Options.
Locate the " Item ordering" setting and set it to Most recent first.
