First of all you will have to create up to 5 (or up to how many images you want) image typed extra fields and assign this extra field group to the category you want. The extra field aliases should be like imagea, imageb, imagec, etc...

Let me know when you are all set with this step so we can move on. Also, let me know of the total image extra fields you have used in order to provide you with the right code for your item.

As usual your support is awesome, congratulations. We want to use this template in an existing website. It is a magazine where we have more than 500 items, and is growing every day. Every Item is different, so do you think is possible to configure this template to choose how many pictures we can use in every item, and have an option to use a video instead pictures if it will be necessary?

You will have to choose the images for every item I'm afraid so the slideshow is one per item. If you think you want to use some generic slideshows per category maybe we can use a module instead.

You can choose the appropriate condition for the video to appear on top instead of all else.

Let me know how you want to proceed.

Sorry my question was not clear. I mean, If is possible to choose how many pictures to show in each item, of course using different pictures for each item.

Of course you can choose you just have to define a max number of images for your extra fields. It doesn't matter if you don't fill them all up. You will just start from top to bottom.
The images are selected from a media manager popup.

You can install somewhere the nokkori package if you like and see exactly how it works in the backend.
