Template specific tab - Define custom colors per content category section:

I am able to define successfully for 15 categories. I have a case where I need to define custom color for 27 entries (3 main K2 categories and 24 sub categories). Beyond 15, when I hit the Save button, the entries get reset. All values, settings stored under template parameters tabs (Standard and Code) vanish. In other words they get reset to how it was when the template was installed fresh.

I wonder if this is some sort of memory problem.

It is quite possibly a limit in the database.
A maintenance release is scheduled within the day.
Updating will solve this issue. (You will not lose any data).

Keep in mind that since there is a change in a DB field you should clear your cache and resave your template's settings (and clear your Joomla! cache once more).
