Problem with Google fonts was created by Laurent Robin
i have to re-open that topic concerning the google fonts.
the problem is that the fonts can not be loaded in the template parameters.
on the top of the parameter page i get the message
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in htdocs/public/www/upgrade32/templates/theconversationalist/includes/elements/nugwf.php on line 133
i use the last updated version of the template.
The problem is if you save the parameters as you need to change colors for example in the parameters and the list of font can not be loaded it remove the use of the font in the template! (default Open Sans).
i do use a workaround by loading the font manually in the head section / code parameters.
<link href='fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Open+Sans' rel='stylesheet'>
i have no idea why the font list can not be loaded. i have no firewall or anything between me and the google server and loading the font manually works fine.

Hello Laurent,
Have you made any changes to the template? And if which files did you edit?
Finally I will need a Super User account to see the issue.
You can send us the credentials through the contact form
nuevvo.com/contact

The json file that is used to populate the list - cdn.nuevvo.net/gwf/gwf.php -
cannot be accessed by your server.
That is why the list cannot be populated.
Since I am no sysAdmin I will have to look a bit further into it to locate the issue (server settings, PHP version, etc).

@Laurent Robin
Hi. I took a look in your server setup and i saw that PHP's "allow_url_fopen" is set to "Off". This is probably causing the issue. By default this is enabled in PHP so probably your hosting company has disabled it. Ask them to enable it. Also, since you will talk with them, it is a good chance to ask them to update your PHP version. The latest PHP version is 5.5. It is fine if they cannot update to 5.5. or 5.4 series but at least they should update to 5.3.28 which is the latest for the 5.3 series. Note that Joomla! 3.3 is coming out this month and it requires PHP 5.3.10 minimum.

Thanks guys for the quicvk and successful support.
i did set the allow_url_fopen to On an the list of font is loading correctly now.
@Lefteris thanks for the advice concerning the PHP Version. i have the possibilty to use 5.4.4-14 but the actual old J1.5 is crashing on that base. we just did migrate to J3.2 and i will set the 5.4 as soon as we go live with the site and killed the 1.5
Great to see such a support which take care of their customers and give advises not only on their products!
Thumbs up Nuevvo.
