I installed the template on a demo server. All is working fine, except k2 items. When I try to see a k2 article, I get a 504 gateway timeout error. What can I do?

Most of the time, this means that the other server is down or not working properly.

Make sure you have updated all the extensions to the latest version eg: K2 to v 2.6.8 or 2.6.9 DEV for Joomla! 3.2.3 and you have updated Joomla! as well.

Extensions that may need updating are also Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup.

If the issue persists go to Site -> Global Configuration -> Server and turn on error reporting, it could be an error due a server limitation or misconfiguration.

Probably It's a server issue, but my provider doesn't know what to do. I tried to link to a k2 item without images, and I can see the page without server errors. If I try to go to a k2 item with image, the server gives a 504 error.
I controlled the k2 item template and I saw that images are loaded using GD libraries. In the php configuration GD libraries are ok.
Joomla articles can be seen without any problem. What can I do?

This is a matter of your server setup missing a required module(s). Your hosting provider should open the error_log file.
This file will guide him to the actual error and help him correct your server setup.
