Hi, Krikor

I upload my site online and the first one day i was able to share my articles on facebook properly but on second day the articles show broken links without image or intro article intro text. Please help.

If you haven't changed any settings, then it is probably an FB issue.

Once I get your site's link I will look into in just in case something went wrong with the og: tags.

PS. Make sure the image size you choose for FB is at least 200px x 200px.
This setting is located in K2's parameters under the social tab.

The first set of the og: tags which is generated from K2 is working properly.
Another extension is generating these tags as well, and also twitter cards.
You need to locate this extension (possibly an SEO extension) and disable that functionality.

I had the exention called Master Sharethis and now I disabled it but bigger problem the site cant completely open and shows nothing.

The white page was not caused by that extension.
You need to ask your hosting provider to disable the magic_quotes (the warning in your Joomla! backend).
Editing a file will most probably 'break' your site.

That is why you were seeing commented code in the frontend.

PS. The issue is resolved now

I have tried but still not sloved.

And there is also the last article i added while ago. The readmore wont work with it, also the apostrophe does't work.

Lastly the site logo on the About Footer module doesnt show. I have not I dea why

It is the magic quotes issue.
You need to contact your hosting provider about that.
Joomla! will not function properly with magic quotes on.

PS. DO NOT edit any template files in your Joomla! backend it will break your site.

Facebook caches URLs, although your code seems ok, it is very probable that Facebook has cached that URL.

Since it is cached on FB's side, there isn't much you can do.
You have to wait until FV crawls your site again.

Hi,

I had to delete and reinstall my website for the OG to work and it did work fine. But Whenever I change the htaccess.txt file to .htaccess the OG doesnt work again. Where could i have gone wrong?

This is not normal Joomla!/k2 behaviour.
I also see you have (or an extension) has edited the .htaccess file. Maybe you should with Joomla!'s default htaccess.

Its says there are errors but as long as the other new urls are ok then im satified.

I have another problem. I get alot of spam comments cos the Recapcha isnt working. I have turned it on but i have o idea why it isnt working.

B.A. Umberger and Khalil have posted two solutions regarding reCaptcha.

Finally you can also setup Akismet which also seems to work fine (I 've personally used it in many projects).
