Hello,
Have successfully install anagram template and all was going well.

Decided to go ahead and try another but after following the exact same process ended up with this error msg
"Fatal error: Call to a member function isAdmin() on a non-object in /home/onlineit/public_html/jhoganhv.de/plugins/authentication/cookie/cookie.php on line 53"

Just wonder if I install a 2nd template along with kickstart, is it also necessary to again create a a configuration.php file. my host doesnt create it automatically. Or does this error tell you where I might have messed up

This is a core Joomla! plugin.

Personally I would rename the entire /cookie/ folder and the update Joomla! to its latest version.

If you install the template in the site you do not need to use kickstart. You just install it like a normal template.
On the other hand if you want to use another quickstart package, you have to install it on a seperate folder and db.
Akeeba's kickstarter should take care of the configuration.php.

ok thanks , think i have the hang of it now. so I only need to install kickstart one time and then each template can be installed as normal joomla template.

I would personally install each quickstart package seperate, since it includes all the modules, the settings and the K2 parameters already predefined.

ok but just another obvious question, its ok to have two or three of nuevvo templates in the one Joomla 3/k2 system?

You can have as many templates as you want installed on your Joomla! site.
