Sadly I cannot teach you how to laugh out loud.
I would recommend watching "Hot Fuzz" or for that. It does the trick for me.

A joomla! tutorial, on a more serious note would be really helpful, docs.joomla.org/Help33:Extensions_Module_Manager

also how would I request this to open in a new window rather then taking people away from the player when they request

Nope, that will not work.
If you are reffering to links to need to add target="_blank" to the <a> element eg:

<a href="http://google.com" class="social">.....

should become

<a target="_blank" href="http://google.com" class="social">.....

For some reason Radiojar is not streaming.

If your stream name is indeed correct and u9vn8t4kb you should check to see if Radiojar is experiencing any outages.
